Sewit's Santa Ana Courthouse Elopement

Sewit found me on Google thanks to my blog of Kelly’s Santa Ana courthouse elopement. I was so happy to be able to photograph another marriage at Santa Ana courthouse. The time of the day was different though so the sun light shining to the staircase was different as well. Thanks to that, I was able to capture their elopement in another perspective. Being a photographer, you can hit creative block quite often. Photographing weddings at the same venue multiple times definitely does not help. The lighting is something we can change around and make the photos look stand out for each couple. A friend reached out to me to be their wedding photographer here at Santa Ana courthouse at the end of this year. Cannot wait to produce another work that aren’t exactly the same as the ones that I did so far.

Yael and Issac's engagement session at El Matador State Beach, CA

Few weeks ago, Simon and I were able to capture Yael and Issac’s beautiful engagement photos at El Matador State Beach in Malibu. Everything did not go smoothly initially because I dropped my phone into the Honey Bucket toilet. OMG, I really cannot believe I just admit this to the internet world but I did guys. Needless to say, it was disgusting. The guy in the other Honey Bucket literally laughed when he heard me telling Simon that. Everyone was offering me a stick and hand wipes. We obviously got a lot of attention afterward lol. However, the session went great and I was able to capture one of my favorite beach engagement session ever. Seriously guys, the light was perfect. The couple was perfect. Their chemistry was way more than perfect. I am just so glad they let me be their photographer and capture their engagement photo session. I’m a little sad that we cannot be their wedding photographer since they are having one in Mexico City but I’m happy for them though. They are going to be the cutest couple on their wedding day. They are so easy to work with and their wedding photographers will have no problem at all taking beautiful photos of them. Romantic Engagement Session at Pelican Cove Park, Rancho Palos Verdes

Nicole showed interest about taking photos under the waves of the oceans similarly to the ones I’ve done before. Of course, I was like uh yeahhhh. I would totally be down to do that again. It was so much fun and I obviously lost my voice afterward . Recently moved to Los Angeles from Cocoa Beach, I was really happy to be able to photograph my lovely clients at refreshing location. Pelican Cove Park was a great choice for engagement photo session location. You do need to hike down to get the the beach for about 15 minutes. We had so much fun doing the session. Maura and Joseph's Downtown LA Engagement Photo Session

I got to spend my Sunday evening around Downtown Los Angeles with Maura and Joseph for their engagement photos. It was uber fun and adventurous in a way. Surprised Proposal of Matt and Kailee at Banyan Estate, Malabar

I cannot believe it took me sooooo long to finally blog this stunningly romantic surprised proposal at the Banyan Estate in Palm Bay, Malabar area. Simon and I got to meet Matt and Kailee at the open house of the Banyan Estate. They told me the story how they met and traveled around Southeast Asia together. You know what people say; if you can travel together and survive, you are a perfect match. Yes, they are!!! 

I was honored and happy to receive a call from Matt asking us to be their photographer on the day he proposed to her. I felt even better knowing that he was doing it at the Banyan Estate, where I dreamed to photograph again after the wedding styled photo session back in the summer last year. Matt had been really nervous since he contacted me until the minute she said yes. Needless to say, he did an amazing job, decorating the room, gathering everyone and especially keeping it a secret until the very end. Don't you just love those rose pedals?
